Why Did Jesus Die?

March 29 - April 5, 2015

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Only the blood of Jesus could wash away sin.

God,

Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain was
a farmer. Abel was a shepherd. They both brought
offerings to the Lord. Cain brought the first fruits of the
crops he grew. Abel brought the firstborn sheep of his
flock. The Lord was pleased with Abels offering. Cain
disobeyed and brought his own kind of offering, so the
Lord was not pleased. Cain got so angry at his brother
that he killed him. He did not allow the love of God to
overcome his hate. Genesis 4:1-8

I worship You with all my heart. Thanking you for sending

Jesus to die for us. Thank You for my parents, teachers,
Pastor Ron and his family. May they be fruitful in every
good work (Col. 1:10). Forgive me when I sin with my
mouth, my hands, or my thoughts. Help me to obey my
parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long
life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3). Help me to look for ways to
bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed
and whole.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
