Jonny was running through a ghost town. So was Jack and so was Betty.

The only
difference was that Betty was clapping and barking while the others werent. They
had picked up some supplies from the government since they were the only ones
that had seen the creatures and survived. Now they were dressed in Kevlar coated
body armor with a utility vest over the top holding a pony bottle (a tiny portable
scuba tank), blowtorch, bow, arrows and even throwing knives and shurikens. But
the stand outs in the utility vests were the ones that went boom. C4 explosives,
guns, detonators, oil, TNT, a lighter even gunpowder. Jack peered over at Betty in
her new camo body armor and he smiled Hed refused to go without Betty. She had
to be protected though. So after that demand the government had reluctantly
agreed to make Betty a custom suit of body armor fit with a headset with hot seal
on the side in flaming writing Jack smiled hed thought that it was a nice touch. Just
then a shard of glowing crystal sailed over-head it hit the ground a couple of meters
away and burst into shards! Jack knew it was pink from that. The things whatever
they were had been lobbing the shards for a while and the different colours did
different things then Jonny remembered something. He had some to! He got one out
of his bag and threw it. It was green and when it landed a giant pillar of jagged
stone shot out the ground smashing anyone in its path. He threw all different
colours. Red, blue, green, yellow even gold and some shades. They all did different
things but the most effective one was the yellow as it exploded in a massive fireball
and fire was there obvious weakness. They were always on the move. Running and
throwing shards they were looking for a place to hide but they had to be able to
throw shards and shoot there bows. Then they saw it. A perfect hiding spot in the
jungle of buildings they went into a building to be met by one of the creatures he
punched Jack and his tools fell out another his fire power gone but he still had his
blowtorch so he took it out of his vest and turned on the flame. It spiked out of the
nozzle. It was blue and naturally, radiated heat. He waved it around then jabbed
forward with it. The effect was instant. As soon as it got close it burned him. At first
it was a pinprick, then a char then a black crater by this time he was nearly dead
but Jack didnt stop he burned everything on the creature then Jonny realized why
next to his feet was Betty. With bruises kick marks all over her. Jack was infuriated
he took the creatures knife and gored stabbed him over and over nothing seemed
to kill him. It just made him bleed but it also seemed hurt it. Jonny realized what he
was trying to do. He was trying to make the creature bleed to death. Soon after
Jacks rage the creature died. What was that for? asked Jonny. HE KICKED BETTY!
yelled Jack. Ok, said Jonny, stunned. Hed never seen Jack like this but they
continued up the stairs in the old building. They were running again when one of the
things jumped out at Jonny brought up his knife and swung down. shink! blood
went everywhere.
Elsewhere the leader of the creatures was wreaking havoc, destroying everything in
his path holding the orb and harnessing its power and it was not pretty there was
absolute carnage everywhere.
Back where jack was Jonny was stunned after the creature had jumped Jack had
thrown the previous creatures knife it had hit this creature and killed him. Now they
were each equipped with a knife.

Self: I didnt take anything out because I started doing this after the ban the boring
session so I have focused on ban the boring the whole time. I think I did a decent
job but thats up to you to decide!

Matt: Well finally part 2 is out and I loved it when they kept on throwing the shards
with all the different colours, I also loved it when you said a jungle of buildings it
made the whole story amazing. I give it 5/5!!!!!!!!

Sam (Grimes): I liked how you used tight tension and dynamic dialog, even better if
you edit more thoroughly and add a more sizzling start.
