Lake Toba: Remake

A long time ago, in a small village deep in North Sumatera, there lived a poor
man named Toba. Toba lived a simple life in his small hut, making a living
from fishing and farming, but despite his hard work, he always remained poor.
One day, Toba went fishing as usual, but caught very little fish. However, when
he was about to give up, he caught a huge golden fish, which to his surprise,
transformed into a beautiful woman. The woman revealed to Toba that she was
under a curse that had turned her into a golden fish. Toba, taken by her beauty,
asked her to marry him and she agreed, with the condition that Toba keep the
secrets of her curse.

The couple lived together happily for a while and had a son named Samosir. As
Samosir grew older, he became a mischievous teen and was caught doing drugs.
He had even tried to steal from his father and murder him. Toba and his wife
were deeply concerned about their son, but Samosir was too far gone in his
wrongdoings.

However, Toba soon discovered that his wife had a dark secret of her own.
When Toba would head to his farm, his wife would sneak away to his brother's
house and cheat on Toba with him. Toba was curious about his wife's behavior
and one day, he followed her to uncover the truth. Upon confronting his wife
and brother, Toba learned that Samosir was not his son, but his brother's.

Filled with anger and hatred, Toba attacked his wife and brother, but his wife's
magical powers blocked his attack. He ran back to the village and told everyone
that his wife was a golden fish beast. The villagers all ran to see the beast, but
when they got there, they were met with sharp fish scales thrown by the flying
golden fish beast, killing many of them.

Toba then went back to his home scared of what he just seen, that’s when he
saw Samosir. Toba told the story to Samosir, they were determined, if they’re
not the one to kill her, she would be the one to kill them. Then they were
exploring a mountain in which there was a tale said that there is a holy sword
somewhere in there that could kill a beast. Months go by on their exploring and
they found it, a holy sword, it was glowing just as their eyes when they knew it
was the time to hunt her.

They went back to where Toba last saw her, it was quiet at first but then rain
started to pouring down, a woman could be seen flying, it was her. Toba
uncover the seath he used to cover the sword he then scream “this is the
moment where I’ll kill you!”. She laughed, maniacally. Samosir signed to his
father to do this carefully, their opponent wasn’t just an ordinary woman.
Toba jumped and swing his sword at her, it was blocked, she had make a sword
made out of a scale, Toba still kept swinging the sword while Samosir helped
him by shooting her with his bow. She then unleashed her power, Toba flinched
when he saw her turned into a golden fish. He knew this wasn’t a good sign.

Samosir shout at his father, “Dear father you and I know this, this is the only
way, unleashed the power of that sword and kill her once for all”, Toba nodded
to Samosir, he shout at Samosir, “This is maybe the last time we met, you
maybe not a son of mine but that’s okay, our journey comes to an end and our
journey had sastified me enough, goodbye.” Upon hearing that Samosir cried
but he knew that this is the only way.

Toba then cast a spell, the sword shined brighter, she was trembling, Toba threw
the sword to her with all his might, it thrusted her, an insanely huge flood than
came and cover almost the entire land with water creating a lake, the only part
which still intact is the land where Samosir stands.
