Management Contract for ACFA Training

ACFA Training aims to provide low cost, high quality training in social welfare law and other topics
relevant to the advice sector; it aims to ensure that these courses are accessible to all relevant staff
and volunteers in organisations across the South West.
ACFA Training is run by a Steering Group made up of representatives from advice agencies in and
around Bristol. They oversee the governance and help develop the Training Programme, in
consultation with the sector and in response to requests from advice agencies.
We are now inviting bids for a contract for the management of ACFA Training, starting 1 st July
2015. This contract will involve marketing and promoting the service, identifying and investigating
new opportunities, liaising with trainers, booking catering and venues, compiling and distributing a
training brochure, collating feedback and evaluation forms and managing bookings and banking
fees. Full details are available Appendix 1 and 2.
The contract will involve organising a minimum of 15 courses a year and we would ask that bids
clearly state the cost per course being offered. The fee payable will form part of the competitive
tender process.
This opportunity is offered as a Contract for Services and we are inviting competitive bids. The
successful applicant will provide services directly and will not be employed by ACFA.
The closing date for bids is Friday 15th May. We hope to be able to award the contract on the basis
of the bid documents alone but if interviews are required they will be held in Bristol in the week
commencing 18th May at a mutually convenient date.
To request details of the contract and how to apply please email: acfa.admin@gmail.com and put
