    Ten Golden Rules

    of Information Security
    1. Know your Business Information Security Officer (BISO)

    2. Report any real or potential information security incidents to your BISO


    3. Know how to properly classify and handle Citi information in all its

    formats, including paper, electronic and verbal

    4. Protect Citi information classified as Confidential or higher when it is


    transmitted or stored by using a Citi-approved encryption method

    5. Securely dispose of Citi information, especially information


    classified as Confidential or higher

    6. Be cautious of emails from unknown sources and avoid clicking


    on embedded hyperlinks

    7. Always confirm someones identity before sharing Citi information


    8. Protect your passwords and change them frequently

    9. Lock your computer whenever you leave your work station


    10. When working remotely, avoid using public computers and public

    wireless networks
