conferences will be held in the gym from 5:00-8:00 PM

conferences as opportunities to communicate with your
student's teacher(s) face-to face regarding his/her
performance and citizenship.
Parentslguardians are asked go online to request the
day and times for their conferences with teachers. The
notice gives step-by-step instructions on how to make

host the District Band Festival at Grand Ledge High


Schoolwhere both Bands earned "ls" on their
performances. Great job!
Our 7tn/8th grade Girl Choirs performed at GLHS
Auditorium on Wednesday evening and our 7thl8th grade
Boy Ghoirs sang the following evening. They did a
great job. Their next performance is on March 24 and 25
when they perform at the District 8 Choral Festival.
Our 7th and 8th grade Girls Basketball teams finished
their seasons with great performances, too. lndeed, the

where they will participate in three different presentations
in areas of possible career interest. These include:

Grand Ledge High Schooljuniors and seniors are eligible


to be dually enrolled in one of these programs where
they may earn college credit from LCC, Davenport or
Olivet Colleges depending upon the courses successfully
completed. Please ask your child about the visit. For

Again, these activities are very important in our students'
social and emotional growth and development. The
discipline these activities require help students provide

7th grade B Team ended up undefeated, a very tough


thing to do at any level. Congratulations to all of the girls
and their continued basketball development!

The Middle School


Wrestling team continues to have an outstanding
season. This past weekend, they were the top team (out
of 33) at the Jackson Jr. JAWS tournament. This is the
second tourney win this year having won a nice trophy at
the lonia Open a few weeks ago. The team wraps up
their season on Thursday, March 13, at GL High School
where they are hosting the matches (due to P-T
conferences in the Hayes gym.)
