Sink the
Three
The 2012 senior boys basketball team
enjoyed a strong season as they continued the Lambrick Park Basketball
tradition. The boys fought hard to get
off the Island and went on to compete at
the AA Provincial Championships. The
team earned a respectable 9th place nish in the 16 team tournament. Best of
luck to the three graduating players, and
with a talented core of returners plus
an inux from a strong junior team the
Lions will look for continued success
next year. Congratulations boys for an
outstanding basketball season!

The 2011-2012 junior boys basketball

team nished 3rd in the city and 3rd in
the Vancouver Island Championships.
At the provincial tournament, the team
posted 2 wins and 2 losses which was
good for an 11th place nish overall.
Coaches Mr. Szatmary and Mr. Hamilton were extremely pleased with the
results and look to build on the success
for future years. Many of the boys will
take this valuable season of experience
into next year on the senior team. Congratulations on a great season.
