repurchased 4,200m3 concrete and 12,000m3 infill
2.5 years for project
Have pics of deconstruction project, top view layout of project site,
stats, etc.
Stack Height
o Tropical storm winds
o With uneven slope
o Did tipping calculations
o Found that at an angle of 4 with tropical winds can stack 10 high
o Planning on designing for 10 high with 2x safety factor
o What safety factor does Volvo use? (Martin will ask 2 or 1.8)

Corrugated plastic from last week looks really strong, thinking of
adding in as support material to metal frame
Talking to plastic sales rep on Thursday for material and
cost
Metal Frame with hinge idea is still our focus
Need hinges for bulging, stability
Gets rid of top frame
Made of aluminum ~37lbs
Plastic bolted onto metal frame, allows for replacement if
needed
o Goal to send out initial quotes tomorrow
o FEA simulation of panels from both sides by Friday

Worked really well
Looking at ways to buy fabric
High strength pool cover Loop Loc, looking into contacting
them
If not just polypropylene
Looking for tear resistant fabrics (definitely a concern)
Base with metal for extra support

Ratchet straps for release and tightening

Would need two operators to release
o BTH Metal Bottom
Forklift bottom still (problem is the equipment cant do it for
hexagon)
All metal will be stronger but super heavy
Dont need second operator to release but requires more space
to move to new position
BTH starting to put together requirements for the system
