I got to know Aimee about 10 years ago when my daughter Giselle joined the
LaPetite daycare. Aimee was at that time teaching there. We quickly got to know
each other well since she typically opened up the daycare and I always took my
daughter in very early in the morning. She made sure she was there on time, very
organized and gave me a sense of comfort that my child was in good care.
She is very professional, knowledgeable and always watching out for the children.
She always provided me with a progress report on my daughter and worked closely
with me to ensure that those areas that needed attention, if any were addressed. It
always felt like a partnership. She has a passion for what she does.
While most teachers at the daycare were hesitant to address some sensitive issues
that were going on at the daycare, Aimee always rose above every one of them and
spoke her mind. She did this because she always felt the childrens interests came
above everybody else. She was their advocate and was not afraid to express that.
Since then I have continued to maintain a cordial relationship with her as she still is
interested in knowing whats going on with my daughter. My daughter is now in 4 th
grade.
