Ag Farm Contract

1.

Student projects consisting of market swine, market goats, market sheep, and market beef, are allowed to
be kept on the farm.

2.

Store rooms are available for supply storage. It is everyones responsibility to keep them clean and
organized.

3.

All veterinary requirements are to be performed by the student with guidance from the instructor. Animal
emergencies or those things outside of the knowledge of the instructor will be referred to a local
veterinarian.

4.

Medication will be available at any time, but students will have to pay to use the medicine provided by the
school.

5.

All other expenses incurred are at the cost of the owner and the owners parents.

6.

Student is responsible for repairs to the facilities if the student or their animal damages them.

7.

A $50.00 refundable deposit may be collected before the animal is brought onto the farm. This will be
returned to the student at the end of the project when the pen is clean and in full repair. Deductions may be
made for repair materials.

8.

The Ag department/FFA Program are not responsible for missing feed or equipment that belongs to the
student.

9.

Failure to comply with the above will result in the following:

First Offense: Written Warning
Second Offense: Parent teacher conference
Third offense: Removal of Animal within 1 week of a second written warning.
Failure to Remove Animal: Ag Instructor will remove animal, sell it at the auction, and money will
be sent to the student.
