Topic: Iwo Jima Flag Raising
Event/Valentines Day/Cottonwood trees are
changing

Objective: Be aware that although it is still cold, outside vegetation is changing.


How important Iwo Jima Flag Raising event is to this community, because it honors Ira H.
Hayes, and Matthew B. Juan. Discuss that the flag represents our freedom, and respect.
Valentines Day, and how we honor those that we love.

Have children dictate a Valentines Day card to
their parents, grandparents, or whomever they
choose too.
