POSTER COMPETITION ON THE OCCASION OF

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY, 2015

The National Science Day is celebrated all over India on 28th of February every
year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist, Sir C.
V. Raman in the year 1928. On this occasion the School of Sciences, IGNOU
announces a POSTER COMPETITION for its students on any science related
theme of their interest or on any of the following themes:

Energy
Environment
Science for Development
Basic Science

The maximum size of the poster can be A3 (29.7 cm x 42.0cm).

The poster can be submitted by post or by hand at the following address:

The poster may also be submitted by email to:

The last date for submitting the poster: 20.02.2015.
Prizes and certificates will be given for the three best entries and certificates of
commendation for some worthy entries. The best entries will be displayed in an
exhibition at the School of Sciences IGNOU on 27.02.2015.
