Now that you have journeyed through your Webquest, you should
now know why Orville Redenbacher is considered a famous
Hoosier. Orville Redenbacher was the owner and operator of
Orville Redenbachers Gourmet Popping Corn. Although he did not
invent popcorn, he created a new type of corn kernel that
created the perfect piece of popcorn and thus he became famous
for making high-quality popcorn.
In honor of Orville Redenbacher and his love of popcorn, you will
be making something called unusual art. You will a popcorn art
piece of the state of Indiana. An outline of Indiana will be
provided and you will decorate it using popcorn however you wish.
Specific directions and the scoring rubric for your art project
are on the back of this page.
