procedural based on the curiosity sense about science, technology, arts,

culture, and humanities with an insight into humanity, national, state, and
civilization-related causes of phenomena and events, as well as applying
procedural knowledge in the field of study according to the specific talents
and interests to solve the problem.
4. Processing, reasoning, and presenting in the realm of the concrete and
abstract domains associated with the development of the self-learned at
school, and were able to use the method according to the rules of science.

Standard Competences
3.28

To describe the concept of indefinite integral from the function as the inverse
of the derivative function

3.29

Lowering the rules and properties of indefinite integrals of the rules and
properties of the derivative function

Indicators

3.28.1 Determine the indefinite integral from algebraic function as the inverse of
derivative function
3.28.2 Knowing the rules of integral and applying to determine the integral of a
function
3.29.1 Knowing the symbol of integral and determine the properties of indefinite
integral

I. Learning Objectives

3.23.1.1 Given the function of derivative, students able to determine the indefinite
integral from that function correctly
3.23.1.2 Students able to determine the integral of a function using the rules of
integration correctly and carefully
3.29.1.2 Given the four questions, students able to determine three question about
integral function correctly

II. Topic

Indefinite Integral

III. Learning Method

Learning model

: Inductive learning

Learning method

: Asking - questioning, giving the task

IV. Learning Steps

Introduction:
1. Teacher greets the students and start the learning activity with pray together.
Teacher checks the students attendance list.
2. Teacher remind the students about derivative. Teacher informto the students
that the material will be discuss related with derivative.
3. Teacher give the motivation and showing some of pictures like as leaves,
flowers, or other who have irregular shape. Teacher said that they are able to
calculate the surface area of leaves, flowers, or irregular shapes.

4. Teacher inform the students about the material will be discuss, that is integral.
Teacher state the learning objectives.

Main Activities:
Phase 1: Introduction
1. Teacher give the an example and ask to the students to find the derivative of
and

. The derivative from that function is

Then, teacher ask to the students to find the difference both of the function.
2. Teacher ask to the students the form of that functions like as variable,
coefficient, and constanta. Then, ask why the two functions have the same
derivative value?.

Phase 2: Open Ended

3. Teacher gives the table like below:
Function

Derivative

Integral

Then, ask to the students to observe and find the equality and difference of that
examples.
4. Teacher ask some students randomly to state the equality or difference from that
examples.
5. Teacher accept all the answer from the students.
6. Teacher inform to the students about the symbol of integral

7. Teacher give the examples about addition, subtraction, and scalar multiplication

Then, ask to the students to observe and find the equality and difference of that
examples.
8. Teacher ask some students randomly to state the equality or difference from that
examples.
9. Teacher accept all the answer from the students.

Phase 3: Convergent
10. Teacher ask to the students what can be concluded from the example. "How to
find the integral of a function?" and "how the general integral formula?".
11. Teachers receive all the answers of students. If there is an answer that does not
match the student with the concept. The teacher asked the students again relates
to the concept of integral.
12. The teacher asked the students "what happend if we operate integrals with two or
more functions?".
13. Teachers will receive all the answers of students and direct when something goes
wrong concept.
14. Teachers also will do the same thing, which is to ask the students about the
definite integral and determine with a graph of the function.
15. Teacher will repeat the activity until the 10th to 14th of integral addition and
subtraction, and multiplication by a scalar.

Phase 4: Closure
16. Teacher restate the true information from the studentss answer in phase before.
17. Teacher give the time to the students to understand all of the concept which has
been discussed.
18. Teachers receive the question from students if there are students who dont
understand. Teacher not give the answer directly, but ask to the students. So
students themselves who found the answer to the question.
19. Teacher will repeat the activity until the 16th to 18th of integral addition and
subtraction, and multiplication by a scalar integral.
20. Teacher will repeat the activity on the open-ended phase, convergent, and closure
about how to integrate by subtitution, etc.

End Activities:
Phase 5: Aplication
1. Teacher gives the test to be done by students.
2. After doing the test, students collect the test to teachers.
3. Teachers discuss about the test that is considered difficult by s tudents.
4. Teacher gives some exercise to the students. So, they are able to master and
understand about what the material that has been learned that day.
5. Teacher close the meeting and pray together.
