1. In corn, yellow kernel color is governed by a dominant allele (Y), while white kernel color is
coded by a recessive allele (y). A random sample of 1,000 plants from a population that is in
Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium reveals that 910 are yellow and 90 are white. Calculate:

2. After several generations, variable colour of kernels was found in corn. In a sample of 1,000
plants, 300 plants have white kernel, 400 plants have yellow-white kernels and 300 plants have
yellow kernels. The kernel color variation is this population is now controlled by 2 alleles at one
locus: W codes for white kernel and Y codes for yellow kernels. The heterozygotes produces
yellow-white kernels (WY).
Setelah beberapa generasi, pelbagai warna biji telah dikesan pada jagung. Dalam sampel
sebanyak 1,000 tumbuhan, 300 tumbuhan mempunyai biji putih, 400 tumbuhan mempunyai biji
kuning-putih dan 300 tumbuhan yang mempunyai biji kuning. Kepelbagaian warna biji dalam
