PROJECTS: (Tr. Sivakumar & Tr. Survesh)

For the project under discussion - Apachi Koundanurr school – Guna Associates has arrived at an estimate for
changing the roof at Rs. 2,49,000 inlcuding the floor plastering, painting everything, and changing the doors and
windows (except fixing the compound wall).

The floor approved the estimate and decided to move forward. Tr. Siva informed that he expected around Rs. 20,000
from the locals.

Another school (SSA project) was visited Samathapuram Elementary school – 9 lakhs was budgeted by SSA and 50%
of the funds has already been received by the head mistress. In 1 acre land there is an approval for a 3 classroom
block with kitchen block (very close to Chettipalayam)

Funds were being raised for repairing the toilet block and to build the kitchen block by the school – if so they wanted
us to build 4 classrooms vs. 3. The school was located at a very good location ideal for the area.

Guna Associates to prepare an estimate for the same.
