scored her 1000th career point in the
Woodward game setting a school record
as the first player to do so. I was so happy
and proud of myself and of my
because they helped to get me there. I didnt
even know it was my 1000th point until
after the game! The celebration was the
Friday after. It was really fun, and I felt

senior class that started the foundation
for the growing girls basketball program.

Ive watched them grow and develop since
I got here their sophomore year. This is the
group I started with right here, says Coach
Muhyee. Jada is the leader. Shes the first
player from Whitewater to sign a Division i
basketball scholarship at Jacksonville State.
Coggins,whos been playing basketball since she
was six, attributes her success to her teammates.
I would have to say that the team Im with
now has been the most
to play with
in all of my high school career. Were
actually friends outside of the sport, and
we do stuff outside of basketball,
so having a bond makes it a lot of fun for me.
