Focus of Lesson: Fitness Circuit/ Components of Fitness review
Student Performance Objectives (SPO): By the end of the lesson,
students should be able to:

(P): Perform the correct form for the Dumbbell Shrugs with success 100% of the time
following the skill cues.
(NASPE 1; MA CF 2.17; Station 10)
(C): Identify why using a circuit type of training is a good alternative to
running during the closure.
(NASPE 2; MA CF 2.19; Closure)
(A): Respect the equipment, classmates and teacher by only using the
basketballs when instructed, and having the basketballs on the ground when
the teacher is instructing during all activities.
(NASPE 5; MA CF 2.26; all Stations)

Teacher Performance Objectives During the lesson the teacher will:
1. Goes over all stations and signals well to help compensate for voice later on

Transition- Create groups of 4,


by having all students pick a
number on a piece of paper,
grouping the 2 students with
limitations together in one of the
groups.
Stations:
Rules of the activity:
Students will be at each station for
1 minute intervals. When the music start,
the students will perform the stations
activity, once it stops they will transition
to the next station. Each station has cue
cards for the students if they forget how
to do a station. As students are
performing the station, teacher will walk
around and give feedback on different
groups.
Station 1:Push ups
Each student will perform as
many push-ups as they can in
1 minute
Extend down: modified push
up (on knees)
Station 2:Sit-ups
Each student will perform as
many Sit-ups as they can in 1
minute
Extend down: 20 seconds
then break then 20 seconds
Station 3:Plank
Students will perform a 1
minute plank, if they cant do
the full minute they can stay
in position but in knees.

knees once plank is to tough

Each student will do a lunge,
alternating left and right legs
