Sideways leg kicks with hand on net
High knees cross court
Butt kicks cross court
Shuffle cross court and back
Karaoke cross court and back


Transition: Ss will bring it in for the intro,
focus, etc..

Introduction: T will introduce himself to Ss
and explain focus of the lesson. T will
discuss focus of the lesson, start and stop
signals, safety, and address any questions
that the students may have. T will use an
iPad to show the Ss a video of pickleball

Focus of the lesson:
Pickleball rules, forehand, backhand, serve

Start and stop signals: Start: One whistle to
start the game. Stop: Two whistles, Ss stop
and look at T.

Safety: No horseplay, no contact or you will
sit out

Skill cues:
Forehand
Turn sideways, opposite paddle
