Islam Peace Ad Justification

One of the most bothersome issues that I come across with fellow Americans is the
ongoing ignorance and prejudice that is uprising in society. It is far too apparent to be ignored,
especially amongst southern states. Especially after the introduction of ISIS to the world, public
opinion of the Islam religion as a whole has been slowly more and more stained. In fact, its far
too often that I see Muslim hate/discrediting posts on Facebook. To me, it seems the public has
developed a very poor and misunderstanding view of Islam due to the presence of Al Qaeda, Bo
Karam, and most importantly, ISIS.
The actual subject of this flyer is the misconceptions of Islam. I personally would like to
compare this recent occasion of hate of Islam to a modern-American Red Scare, the national
concern of communist intrusion in the United States. It is most common for people to associate
Islam with terrorism due to its international attention in the past.
This should not come off as me making assumptions or generalization, but I definitely
intended this flyer to be seen by most of Americas concerned fellow conservatives. I think it
comes off very clear in the flyer that I want those to see that the Islam religion is more than just a
terrorist group. Muslims are one of the most populous religious groups in the world, yet no one
ever reports things such as peaceful groups of Muslims helping to rebuild Christian churches.
In trying to educate the public of the true peacefulness of Islam, I presented the logic that
there isnt anything violent about Muslims helping Christians rebuild a church after their own
religious followers attacked it. Furthermore, I present a direct quote from the Holy Quran. The
audience should also note that we can reflect on how people helping people would make us feel.
