Who doesnt like a bit of cake and ice cream? Baking-Well really is all about
baking well and getting the basics of desserts like baking a cake correct.
To fit the fine dining market, just baking a good cake has to be developed
to be sold for such a lucrative crowd.
The inspiration behind this dish comes from
the well-known bake well tart. With so
many different variations of the Bakewell
tart already available, it was difficult to re
create this dessert without it copying
another idea.

As the Bakewell tart is traditional, keeping


things original played an essential role
developing this dessert. Not over
complicating the dish and using simple
cooking methods sometimes led to a drop
in how the dish looked. A striking balance
between flavour and appearance had to be
created to lift this dessert into a
contemporary era.
