5 Classroom Rules:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Listen when others are talking.

Raise your hand to talk.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Put things in their specific spots.
Respectful behavior when playing.

The first time a rule is broken there is a verbal warning. With the second rule broken the
child receives a yellow bear and they have to miss free choice. The third time a rule is broken
there is an orange bear given to the child and they have a note they must take home with them.
The children will have various chances to do things wrong and to fix them because direct
punishment does not help all students. There will be students that will not misbehave due to the
worries that getting a warning or a bear can entail. There will be students who will misbehave
and once they receive a warning will stop. There will be some children who will misbehave
more regularly and those children will receive their own system if need be.
