STEPS TO INSTALL OLGA WITHOUT CAUSING TROUBLE TO OTHER SOFTWARES

1) Copy License file "SPT-OR1391-11910.lic" to

C:\Program Files\SPT\OLGA\Licenses
Or if different
<olga installation folder>\OLGA\Licenses
Prefer using common license folder for all softwares
2) Edit License file to change the HostID or Server Name. It is ABCDEFG in the l
icense file at the end of this email
By any one of the following methods:
a) Run <LM Tools > and look in <System Settings> tab and <Computer Name /Host n
ame>
b) Use <License Handler> and press <System Info>
c) Right Click on <My Computer> and click <Properties> Look in <Computer Name> t
ab
and note the <Full Computer Name>
3)Start Server with this file by the following:
3.1) In License Handler select <Use a License Server on This Machine> and press
<Configure> button
3.2) Press <Add Local Server> and browse to the license file
3.3) Press <Uninstall License Server> to remove license server and reinstall it
by pressing <Install License Server> button
Try restarting License Server
4) Go back to the SPT License Handler main window and select Use Node-locked Lic
ense
and browse to the license file
5) The next step is to add Scandpower Vendor linked to license file by the foll
owing method:
5.1) Use <LM Tools> Utility from Start Menu\Programs\OLGA\Flem LM\LM tools or in
side Flex LM folder in OLGA Installation directory
5.2.1) Click on <Utilities> tab and type in "scplmd" in <Vendor name> Input
5.2.2) Click on Path button and navigate to the license file
Now the vendor is added.
6) Sometimes using license file for configuration saves times. A little playing
with the settings does not do harm
