How to Map an Multi-Function Printer Scanner Folder


Here are instructions for mapping your personal MFP Scanner folder on your computer. 1
1. Open Windows Explorer by clicking on the Desktop Computer Icon, or by clicking the
Start button and clicking Computer on the menu above the Shutdown button

2. Click Map network drive on the toolbar

The examples show are for Windows 7 OS, but work similarly for XP.

3. Fill out the mapping form. Use the Drive menu button to find and select S.
For MFP scanner output, use \\scanner\user\<Your GothicNet ID>. Be sure to check the
box to Reconnect at logon

4. Click the
button at the bottom of Map Network Drive dialog window. You
now have a new drive (S) connected to your Computer

When you use a multi-function printer (MFP) to scan a document with your personal
printer code, the scanned documents will appear in this folder.
