Focus Questions

WEEK ONE
1. My area is a Temperate Woodland and Shrubland because it contains trees and
grasslands.
2. Many of the grasses in my area are in a mutualistic relationship with each other.
The lizards living in my area are in a commensalistic relationship with the grasses
because the grass provides hiding places for the lizards. The bees in my area are in a
mutualistic relationship with the flowers because they pollinate the flowers and gather
nectar for themselves.
3. The producers in my area are eating by bugs,which are eaten by rodents, which
are eaten by hawks.
WEEK TWO
1. In my area man allow their dogs to defecate in my area which introduces bacteria.
Man also produce a lot of sound pollution by being on the trail.
2. Some limiting factors for plants in my area are that the trail cuts off my area and
my area is rocky which doesnt allow plant growth. Some limiting factors for animals is
that the plants aren't growing as big because of the drought and that they must stay in
hiding during the day because of humans on the trail.
