Jocelyn Cervantes was an outstanding student in my 10th grade AP European History course. She is also a current student in my Latin
American Studies elective course.
Jocelyn is a natural leader. She was consistently one of the most dedicated students in my AP Euro course. I could always count on her to
offer her understanding, and also offer responses to other student misconceptions. It was not surprising that she scored a "3" on the AP
European History exam this past summer, one of the highest in her class. I know that she takes learning as a very serious endeavor, and is
tremendously goal-driven. I have always counted on Jocelyn to prioritize and organize assignments and course work with impeccable skill. I
truly admire her ability to also work effectively in groups. Never one to make excuses, she decidedly organizes and sees through all projects
in her courses, most of which include AP and Honors.
Jocelyn is a responsible, goal-driven, and high-achieving student who deserves a place on your summer program. Her charisma, drive, and
intelligence will someday lead her to an amazing career. The next stop will surely be a place where she continues to exercise those amazing
leadership qualities she possesses. I recommend her with the utmost sincerity.
