Staples Sings 2015- Registration has begun!

We are looking for Staples-Motleys Best Voice!

The Staples Motley Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for the best Voice in our area
to represent us in the second annual Minnesota Sings Finals that will take place on
Sunday September 27th at the Holiday Inn St. Paul East. Minnesota Sings is a competition
between cities throughout Minnesota that accepts 15 to 25 year old Amateur vocalists to
compete for some great prizes and the honor of representing their city at this Statewide
Event!
Staples Motley Area Chamber will sponsor a competition on August 22, 2015 during
Railroad Days in Staples. Participants must prepare a song with a recorded soundtrack of
5 minutes or less.
The winner of Staples sing and runner-up will go to the state competition. For the state
competition there are some great prizes thanks to the generosity of the sponsors. The first
place winner receives $2500 cash second place $100 cash and third place $500. the next
three winners will receive music gear such as microphones. In addition the first place
winner gets two bonus checks. The first check for $1000 to bring back to Staples and
present to their favorite charity. The second check for $500 they present to their local
Chamber of Commerce.

Terms & Conditions:

Contestants must live, or go to school in our city.

Contestants must be between the ages of 15-25

Total length of your song may not exceed 5 minutes

Contestant must provide CD backing track to sing to. You may us a commercially produced one,
or record your own.

Your cd may include background singers and /or harmonies. Lyrics must not contain any
profanity. The song and lyrics must be memorized.

Must be able to attend the Minnesota Sings competition on September 27, 2015.
