Minnesota Sings Staples Sings

Chili Cook-off Teams

We are still looking for the best voice to represent Staples

Motley in the Staples Sings Concert. This event will be
sponsored by Staples Motley Area Arts Council.

There is still time to have a chili cook-off team. We would

really like to increase the number of teams that we will have
this year. To date we have the following teams: Curves (2
teams); The Rotary, Staples Fire Department, LAPS,
Lakewood Health System, Kinship Partnership and maybe
one more. We need you to join the Cook-off this year.

Railroad Days Car Show

Back by popular demand!!! The Staples Area Women of
Today and NAPA Auto Parts are partnering with the Staples
Motley Area Chamber of Commerce to sponsor a car show
to be held during Railroad Days 2015. The grand prize for
car owners of the show will be a Tool chest valued at
$999.00 We would like to invite you to bring your car to
Saturdays Railroad Days Car Show. Please plan on
bringing your car to the Staples Elementary School to show
off that very special car, be entered for some great prizes,
trophies, great food and socialization with other Car people.

L.A. Pig Races coming to Railroad Days

We are bringing to Railroad Days, for the first time ever, the
Leader Pig Races. We will have two races 1:00 2:00 pm
and 3:00 4:00 pm. Sponsorships for the pig races are
going fast. Dont miss your chance to sponsor a pig, name it
and be on hand to cheer it on. The fee to sponsor a pig is
$40.00.

Parade entries still needed

Railroad Days parade is a great highlight of the RR Days
Celebration. Please consider entering the parade and show
off that business, event, royalty, music, organization,
political race, in this once a year event. We are looking
forward to seeing you there.
