Therease and I met and worked together as patient care technicians in 2011. She was my preceptor, and my career went in different directions when I became a nurse. She remained the same as a team player, with high-quality work ethics.

Re: Recommendation of Therease Taylor for the Masters of Social Work Program To Whom It May Concern: Therease and I met and worked together as patient care technicians in 2011, during which time she was my preceptor. I observed many of her interactions with patients and families, as well as documentation, and collaboration with other team members. Although patient care issues were sometimes complex, Therease was always professional, respectful, and often had effective methods of completing tasks and diffusing situations. I admire her as a great listener and having the ability to handle everyone with genuine care and concern. Our careers went in different directions when I became a registered nurse, and she went on to further her education in social work. Subsequently I became her supervisor and realized much more how valuable she was. Despite the change in our roles, she remained the same as a team player, with high-quality work ethics, and as an overall go-to person in the department. Therease always had some type of resource or resolution for any problem that was brought to her attention. She accepted all delegated tasks without resistance or discussion, which can be hard to find in my experience. She held everyone accountable for maintaining dignity in caregiving and advocated for her patients and team members when needed. I could not think of anyone, professionally or personally, who would be more deserving of a position in your Masters of Social Work program. Your institution would be undoubtedly proud to have Therease represent your program, having such strong character and a genuine love for people.
