Mythology

ZEUS
Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of
the Olympian gods.
His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls
at those who displease him.
He is married to Hera but, is famous for his
many affairs.
His bird is the eagle, his tree the oak. He is
represented as the god of justice and
mercy, the protector of the weak, and the
punisher of the wicked.

Poseidon
POSEIDON was the god of the sea,
earthquakes and horses. Although he
was officially one of the supreme
gods of Mount Olympus, he spent
most of his time in his watery
domain.
His weapon was the trident which
strikes the Acropolis with his threepronged spear and caused a spring
of salt water to emerge.

Hades
HAIDES was the King of the
Underworld, the god of death and the
dead.
Haides was also the god of the
hidden wealth of the earth, from the
fertile soil with nourished the seedgrain, to the mined wealth of gold,
silver and other metals.
