Athens V.S. Sparta essay

There are many similarities and differences between Sparta and Athens. There are about
one hundred things that are different and the same. There was a lot between Athens and Sparta. If
Sparta and Athens didn't have any differences they would be really close together and have the
same everything. Sparta was getting annoyed by Athens and started saying you're doing
everything wrong and a war started

There are a lot of differences between Sparta and Athens. After the war between the
Persians and the Greeks Athens and Sparta went there own ways. Spartas women were allowed
to speak their minds. Athens women were not allowed to speak their minds. The women were
supposed to stay home and clean, cook, and take care of the kids. The women in Athens had to
be exported by their husbands or the man of the house. The women at Sparta could leave the
house. Women in sparta could also where allowed to sit at the same table as the men where and
talk there

There are also similarities between Athens and Sparta. The women were not citizens.
They both had an army. If they didn't have an army they would of lost the war between the
Persians. They both speak the same language and are the same culture. They speak Greek so they
can communicate with each other and trade with each other. Even though they are different they
have a lot of similarities.

Athens and Sparta have different battle strategy but during the Persian war they worked
together and beat the Persians. Even though they are different in all ways like Sparta doesn't gave
education but Athens dose. They may not like each other they still worked together until Athens
started to boss them around. When they started bossing people around they had another war
between Sparta and Athens. And Athens lost because Sparta decided to block of the path so they
couldn't get food or anything and people started to die and Athens surrendered. That is how
Athens and Sparta has many differences and similarities.
