Dear Mr. Pizza,
I have been eating at Joes Pizza for 2 years and I have never been disappointed. When I
was at the shop the other day I learned that you were looking to hire a cashier. Although I
am currently a student, my schedule is very flexible and I would have 15-20 hours to give
each week. I believe that my history with the pizza shop, my experience with serving
customers and my love of pizza will make me a great addition to your team.
As you will read in my resume, as a peer tutor at my school, I have had plenty of
experience working with others to achieve a goal. I know how to work in a team in
sometimes frustrating scenarios without losing my composure. This is useful for when
there are many customers in line and other customers are waiting for their pizza. Im also
used to taking initiative to help instead of waiting for a job, as when I tutor I have to go
from student to student asking of they need help.
