    GAUGE
    Font: Gauge by Parallaxe, 2015.
    Inspiration: The abstract representation of a hand while
    measuring the gauge of some object by using both
    thumb and index fingers.
    This hand gesture describes the G for gauge and its own
    meaning at the time, so that the G is used as a common
    unit in order to build the other letters.
    The proposed icon is also based on this principle.
