Enclosure
The metal enclosure is made of sheet steel of minimum 2mm thickness, mounted on a steel base
frame of minimum 3mm thickness. Enclosure is suitable for outdoor application. The enclosure is
fitted with 2 hinges lockable doors, with padlocking facilities and arranged to open through >120
degrees for maximum access. Watershed roof is provided to prevent the accumulation of water.
Ample ventilation is provided to permit natural circulation of air. The ventilation apertures are
screened to prevent the entry to vermin and foreign objects. The enclosure is fitted with lifting lugs.

Busbars

Busbars

The busbars consists of the following :

One set of 3 phase copper busbars

One number copper neutral bar having current rating equivalent to phase bar

One number copper earth bar for system earthing

On request the phase and neutral busbars are insulated with heat shrinkable tubings. Detachable
fuse holder housings are directly assembled on to the phase busbars.

Outgoing Units

Fuse unit consists of 3 nos. true grip type insulated fuse carriers to provide a hinge action at the
bottom contacts for circuit closing and to accommodate various ratings of J slotted pattern HRC
fuses (BS88-5). The neutral phase is provided with detachable hinge bolted type solid link.

Incoming Units

Link unit consists of 3 nos. through-grip type insulated link carriers to provide a hinge action at the
bottom contacts for circuit closing and to accommodate tinned solid copper links for the phases and
a detachable hinged bolted type solid link in the neutral. Alternatively, the J slotted pattern HRC
fuses can be accommodated upon request.

* Higher rating is available upon request.
