Misbehaving Students

Procedure:
Upon arrival, designate a seat for the student.
Annotate the students details in the green book.
Confiscate the students phone and explain that his/her
phone can be collected from the Discipline office at the
end of the school day.
Depending on the specific transgression the student has
committed will determine the length of time the student
is to remain in ISS. Refer to the list of offenses and
consequences displayed in the ISS room.
It is the responsibility of the subject teacher for that
period to provide the student with work. However, in the
case where the student has not been given work, there
are worksheets available in the labelled drawers.
Students are not allowed to sleep.
A student may leave the room for water/restroom using
the ISS Hall Pass
At the end of the suspension, ask the student to tidy their
area, put the chair on the desk and permit him/her to
leave.
Deliver the students phone to the Discipline office or a
Discipline teacher.

period.
