TECHNICAL SCOPE OF SUPPLY

SOCKET ASSEMBLY
The Socket Assembly consists of a forged steel Socket
and cast bronze Socket Liner. The Socket mounts on
top of the Main Shaft and is held in place with bolts and
a tight interference fit. Grooves on the outside diameter
of the Socket act to reduce no-load head spin. The
Socket Liner fits inside the Socket to support the vertical
crushing forces transferred from the Head through the
Head Ball.
