• A godly leader learns who the Savior
really is, not him, but God. c.f. Exodus
2:11-15

obediently do what God tells him to

The Man Stands
• The First sign, and the first three
plagues = Aaron
• The fourth and fifth plagues = God
• The sixth plague = Moses (and will
continue through the ninth plague!)
Exodus 9:9 “Let Moses!”
Communion.
• We have Communion weekly, because
we have church weekly (1Cor. 16:2,
11:18; Acts 2:42; Rev. 1:10).
• We take Communion with solemnity and
joy because our Savior died for us (c.f.
1Cor 15:1ff It is of “first importance”)
• We apply the sermon text to the weekly
Communion, so we do not interpret it apart
from Gospel lenses.
