INTRODUCTION:

Death is the painful and bad life passage people do experience. There was no death
before Adam sinned, since it was a result of the sin (Gen 3). In order to understand death
and its affect on people we need to study death and condition of man before sin, after sin
and after the resurrection.

In creation of man it was “Soil + breath of life = Living man”. Therefore, death is the
opposite of creation of man, because it is “Living man – breath of live = Soil or dead
person.

The State of the Dead in Biblical Perspective

Introduction:
When man and woman were created by the Lord perfectly, they were endowed with
manifold blessings, no blight of sin, full of physical vigor and vibrant life, but because of
that coercive and willful act of disbelief to the Mighty Creator God; diversion, separation,
alienation, death and decay occurred. Sin and death are real, it causes the life of the Son

man. This topic reveals the reality of Sin and Death

CONCLUSION:
People don’t go to heaven or anywhere where they could go and live another life when
they die. The Bible called death to be sleep because of the plan and hope for resurrection.
People are waiting in their graves till Jesus comes. Wrong concept about death leads
people to misunderstanding of salvation and reluctant to be ready for the second of Jesus
who is coming to raise people from the death. What is expected of us is to remain faithful
till we die if Jesus doesn’t come in our time.
