Roadvale Community Field day

Managing salinity for success

Whats it all about?


Salinity has been an ongoing issue for
landholders in the Roadvale area. Following an
extensive salinity study undertaken by leading
salinity expert Dr. Roger Shaw, SEQ
Catchments has been working with partners and
landholders to undertake a salinity study in the
area.
This field day is an opportunity to come and
learn more about the project:

Discussions and inspection of field works


to manage salt affected paddocks.

Update on investigation into extent and


levels of salinity in the upper Purga Creek
catchment.

Demonstration of salinity monitoring


equipment, including piezometer
installation.
