Tuesday August 4th Prokaryotic vs

Eukaryotic Cells
This assignment will be due Tuesday night at 11:59pm
Today in class you went over the differences between Eukaryotic
Cells and Prokaryotic Cells. In this assignment you will need to
create a table using a word document and list at least four
differences of each cell type.

Wednesday August 5th and Thursday

August 6th- Cell Organelles
This assignment will be due Friday before class starts.
For this assignment you will draw a eukaryotic cell and label its organelles.
On a separate worksheet, you will describe the major components of each
orgalle.
The organelles that need to be listed are the following:
Nucleus
Nucleolus
Mitochondria
Smooth and Rough ER
The Golgi apparatus
Ribosomes
Proteins
Ribosomes
Cytosol
Plasma Membrane

Friday August 7th This assignment will be in class

Before class you will all be placed in a group of 5 and will be
assigned a type of cell. You will have time to review with your group
for 20 minutes to prepare and answer the following questions about
your cell. Once the 20 minutes are up, each group will present to
the classroom and share information about the cell they were
assigned. Each group will have no more than 2 minutes to present.
What kind of cell are you?
What organalles can we find in your cell?
Describe three cell organelles.
