Justin RandalTimberlake was born on January 31, 1981 (34 age)
Hometown: Memphis,Tennessee
Justin grew up in Millington, a little town right outside TN, singing in the church choir as his dad was the choir
director for local baptist church and his grandfather, Charles L. Timberlake was the Baptist Minister and his mom
ran an entertainment production company
Parents, Lyn Harless and RandyTimberlake, got a divorce when Justin was only 5 years old
Justin has always been very close to his mother: We have a very special relationship, he says, shes been my
best friend since I figured out what I wanted to be. With girls, you keep searching for someone thats as good as
your mum, and thats a losing battle ( Lifetime).

JT'S BIO CONTINUED

Justin started his career with mainly acting but occasional singing at a very young age and sang at the
Grand Ole Opry when he was just 10 years old
He also sang Alan Jackson's 'Love's Got a Hold On You' at age 11 on the TV show 'Star Search'
Justin Timberlake started out in the Mickey Mouse club as a child alongside other celebrities, such as
Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, and Brittey Spears whom he later dated
During the late 90's and early 2000's Brittney and Justin publicly dated until she cheated on him. Their
break up spread on news worldwide and was a major event in Justin's life
JT is now married to the well known actress Jessica Biel & had a son, Silas, together

HOW NYSYNC CAME

ABOUT
Having a TV career was clearly not enough for Justin.
When he was 14 years old, he teamed up with Chris
Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone to form a band and later
invited Lance Bass and JC Chasez, ultimately forming
the boy group: N'Sync.
'NSYNC was an American boy band formed in Orlando,
Florida, in 1995 and launched in Germany by BMG Ariola
Munich

Justin Timberlake's mother came up with their band

name by taking the last letter of each of their first
names , Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and
JC Chasez, to form NSYNC

The Boy Band's Awards/ Accomplishments

"NSYNC released their first single in 1996, and hit the big
time in their home market two years later, spreading
their music via a tour of American roller rinks. Once they
got going, it seemed as though 'NSYNC were virtually
unstoppable, and in the year 2000, they released the
fastest-selling album of all time, called 'No Strings
Attached" (Lifetime TV).
In 1998, they were nominated for the Billboard Music Video Award
Best New Artist for "Tearin' Up My Heart"
N'Sync's 2000 album 'No Strings Attached' sold 1.1 million copies on
its first day out, and broke records when it sold 2.4 million in the
first week.

The widely known No. 1 hit single from this album, "Bye Bye Bye"
was awarded Best Pop Video, Best Choreography and Song of the
Summer at MTV's 2000 VMA's

Timberlake Goes Solo!

After going on multiple tours and having had tremendous success, the
other NSYNC members were ready to slow things down, but Justin was
just getting started and had so many new visions for different songs
and albums
It was at this point when Justin decided it was time to part ways and
take the risk of starting a new career going solo
In 2002, Timberlake decided to pursue a solo career debuting with the
hit song "Like I Love You."
Later that year, he released his first solo album, Justified, which sold
more than 7 million copies worldwide. He received two Grammy
Awards in 2004 for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal
Performance.

JT's Other Albums and Accomplishments

In 2008, JT released his second album "Future Sex Lovesounds" which included the well
known hits such as "Sexy Back", "Lovestoned" and "What Goes Around Comes Around"
His sophomore album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, garnered Timberlake seven Grammy
nominations in 2007, including Album of the Year.
The following year "What Goes Around... Comes Around" was nominated for Record of the
Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammys and won the latter. He also won

On March 15,2015 Justin released his 20/20 Experience album after having been M.I.A. for
several years after his "Future Sex Love Sounds" tour.
Critic Dave Hanratty claimed,
"Hidden track 'Pair of Wings' steals in following some silence, unleashing the
dreaded Big Acoustic Number. There's no two ways about this; it is an
astonishingly bad song, and one hell of a questionable way to close out an
especially questionable record. Saccharine to the point where it becomes
uncomfortable and trundles along, aimlessly, begging for someone to pull the plug"
(thewire.com).
Despite the criticism, JT attended the 2014 Billboard Music Awards taking home seven
awards including Top Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for The 20/20 Experience as well as
3 People's Choice Awards and 3 Grammy Awards.
Timberlake was presented with the Innovator Award at the 2nd iHeartRadio Music Awards.

"I'm gonna put a lot of music out over the course of the year and some songs have
become really concept-driven; some songs have become a simple idea that turns into
something big. And songs, you write them different every time; you get an idea for a
song and you go, "Okay, I want to turn this idea into something." And then you wait
until you feel like the accompaniment that you're creating or sometimes you take a
completely different approach, where the accompaniment starts first, the
arrangement starts first, and you're like, "Oh." It gives you a melody idea and then for
some reason the melody you start singing starts turning into words. There's a time
and a place for everything, but when you hear it and you see it, all of a sudden the

Being a wildly successful, innovative, yet humble solo

artist, his importance is that he also is a philanthropist
and very generous
Justin has been involved with and supported a very long
list of charities of which he not only donated money but
much of his time
Justin Timberlake is already one of the greatest
performers of our time. He will be remembered beyond
the 21st century for not only for his amazing music, but
his astounding capability to diversely entertain people
through singing, dancing, acting and even comedy
His reputation of carrying on Michael Jackson's legacy
and being named "The Prince of Pop" while Michael was
named "The King of Pop" is something that will keep
Justin Timberlake in the history books forever
