CHAPTER 1
O RAL TEST: Introducing yourself and others; describing people; talking about what
you and others do; saying what you like and dont like.
Chapter Test:
1. Listening:
a. You must be able to discern which of two statements is actually
represented in a picture shown.
b. You must be able to decide which activity is done on a regular basis
based on what you have heard.
2. Reading:
a. After reading a pen-pal letter, you must decide whether the statements
made match the letter or not.
i. Including likes and dislikes
ii. Also descriptor words about peoples appearances and
personality traits
b. Read an interview and answer questions based on the info in the
interview.

4. Writing:
a. You must write a sentence based on what a picture is showing. This
involves activity verbs. Use the vocab list on pg 33 especially looking
at the Segundo paso.
b. Write out a conversation. Here you must look at the answer to
determine what the question was. Focus on the vocab from the primer
paso concerning especially the introducing yourself.
c. Write a paragraph from the picture that is shown.
Activities from the Ms prctica grammatical pg 26-29 that would be helpful to do
as practice.

Oral Test: You must talk about how you are feeling; make and respond to
suggestions; say if something has already been done; ask for and offer help;
describe your city or town.
