1. Snapshot of the case.

 The case is about the young entrepreneur named Vikas Jain who started his
journey from Hindustan motors as a he was in materials management and
outsourcing department. There he worked for about one and half year.
However, he got bored in the cooperate job therefore he started event
management company where he organized multiple national and
international event.
 Moreover, he then switched to garment distribution where he faced
challenge with management of supply chain and credit cycle.
 Afterwards he started with the distribution of spare parts of garments.
 Vikas was still restless with his current work so he decided to become angle
investor for IT company which collapsed due to lack of experience.
 After that he accompanied his friend on a contract farming which was a big
hit but he walked out of the business due to conflict with his partner.
 Then he started jungle life adventure park which was a flop show because of
miss management.
 Vikas then started Club 7 which became leading giant in restaurant and
eating joint it became major hit and the talk of the town but in 2012 he faced
a major blow as the landlord refused to renew the lease.
 Now Vikas operates Café studio with multiple branches and unique business
model.

1. LEARNINGS FROM THE CASE

 The case study highlights Entrepreneurial skills of Vikas, it showed how Vikas
was self-driven and motivated to start something new.
 Vikas could have stayed in the comfort of cooperate job but he decided to
face the challenge by being an entrepreneur.
 However, he had successful company he didn’t settle for what doesn’t make
him happy.
 He never gave up on his dreams and didn’t stopped even after many failures.
2. PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED

 Although he was having a successful business, he kept on trying new thing if


he would have focused on his single project, he would have achieved new
heights by now.
 The case study explained objectives of Vikas but his Goals are still not clear as
to what he wants to achieve in his life. He didn’t give up on himself as he
didn’t have certain goals to achieve.

3. QUALITIES AND TYPE OF ENTREPRENEUR

 Vikas was mixture of both Innovator and Hustler.


 He always came up with new ideas to promote his business.
 He sacrificed his job and many things to hustles for his dreams which clearly
indicates the quality of hustler.
 Failures didn’t stop vikas from achieving his dreams rather he kept giving his
time and hard work towards his work.
