1.0 INTRODUCTION

Because its business revolved around the sale of surprise gift boxes, the company was given the
name GRANTS'WISH. Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are used to run the business. The company
was incorporated on November 14, 2021, and it was registered on November 10, the same year. The
company is based in Kelantan's Pengkalan Chepa. Six students are in charge of the company.
GRANTS'WISH is a company that sells surprise gift boxes that are well worth the money. The Nike brand
is the main product of this company. One cotton t-shirt, one hat, and snacks such as snacks and chocolate
make up the filling of this surprise gift box we sell. There are three sets in this gift surprise box. The first
set is a two-piece set consisting of a t-shirt and a hat. A t-shirt is included in the second set, and a hat is
included in the third set. Customers can choose between white and black for the shirt and hat. This
surprise gift box was created to make it easier for customers looking for a suitable gift for a variety of
people, particularly men. This is due to the fact that the majority of surprise gift boxes sold contain female-
oriented items such as chocolates, scarves, and hair rubber. This appears to be aimed solely at female
customers.

PURPOSE OF BUSINESS PLAN

The purpose of this business entrepreneurship plan is a module that is the first step before start business.
This business plan is very important to Grants ’Wish business as it can help us strengthen our business.

The purpose of making this business plan is:

i. Our vision is to be a dynamic and competitive business organization through strong team
alliances and having a team spirit in online business. Our mission is to provide T-shirts and hats
as well as quality, branded, fast, and flexible services to achieve one hundred percent
consumer satisfaction.
ii. The business objective is conduct activities that involve the sale and purchase of Nike brand T-
shirts and hats between sellers and buyers to meet the needs and desires of consumers and
involve the exchange of values to make a profit through promotion on social media.
iii. Determine the unique method of offering goods and services that is to offer a free gift wish card
and sticker for every purchase.
iv. Identify target customers by gender, age and social class.
v. As a plan for to set marketing goals in terms of product appearance, material costs and
shipping costs, sales targets and promotional methods.
vi. To analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the business and review the strategies of
competitors in order to make improvements to our product and service offerings.

3.0 BUSINESS BACKGROUND

GRANTS’ WISH is our business name which is had been decided together. GRANT’S WISH is a word
that means a desire or hope for something to happen. We decided to choose this name because we hope
that our business can fulfil the all wishes of our customers in the future as what in our wishes. Our business
was selling shirt and cap in textile and apparel industry. This business has a total of 6 members.

5.0 Administration Plan

5.1 Introduction
An administration plan is a written document that outlines the steps involved in starting
and growing a company. This plan depicts a high-level overview of the planning and purpose of
a future activity or business operation. The vision, mission, and objectives are all included in this
administration plan. This administration plan is designed to help entrepreneurs determine the
direction of their company in order to achieve organizational objectives.

I. Vision:
Our vision is to be the best company in producing high quality types of clothing in the
textile and apparel industry as well as provide customer satisfaction in Malaysia.

ii. Mission:
Our mission is to be a surprise gift box supplier that makes a difference to customers
across Malaysia and to be a company that has a good relationship with our customers and
suppliers. The products and services offered by our company continue to remain with the best
quality and service. We will always follow the wishes of customers so that customers have
confidence in our company and in turn become regular customers in our company. That is the
goal we want to achieve.

iii. Objective:
Our goals may be broken down into two categories: short-term goals and long-term goals.

Short-term objectives:

• Strengthening delivery services to customers.

• Increased product sales and company profits from before.

• Grow this business by having more employees working under it.

iv. Location of the business (location plan)

Our business company is located in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan. GRANTS 'WISH's


company address is KARUNG BERKUNCI 36, PENGKALAN CHEPA, 16100 KOTA BHARU,
KELANTAN. Our company is located in an urban area and is within Universiti Malaysia Kelantan
(UMK). With an area full of public infrastructure, our business has an advantage in conducting
business operations. We can buy resources easily and do deliveries quickly. Not far from our
company place there is an supermarket Pantai Timur for us to buy the goods we need and there
is also a j&t center to make deliveries of goods to be delivered to customers.

V. Type of building, available infrastructure, cost.

GRANTS 'WISH Company uses a retail-office building to carry out all business activities
such as financial management, resource distribution, completing product packaging and others.
In the GRANTS 'WISH Company area there is also infrastructure provided. The infrastructure
around our company is a convenience store, a souvenir shop for us to buy items such as canvas
bags and pieces of decorative gift paper. Apart from that, there is also an Supermarket Pantai
Timur close to our company building area where we buy snacks, and not far from the Supermarket
Pantai Timur there is a J&T Express office to deliver surprise gift boxes ordered by customers.
The cost to rent the building in the amount of RM 200 and above that we have to spend to provide
a place to do business operations and create this company.

MARKETING

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Marketing is defined as the process of introducing a product or service to consumers that has the potential to benefit
the business. Aspects of marketing include advertising, public relations, promotion and sales. The marketing
conducted by the business needs to be able to meet market demand by making sales value products, determining
prices, communicating, and exchanging value propositions to consumers, customers, partners and the public. In a
company, the main purpose of marketing is to maximize profits by making sales strategy.

1.2 TARGET MARKET

The target market is a segment of potential customers who are likely to buy a product or service from a business.
Target markets can be classified according to geographic, demographic, and psychographic segmentation. The
target market is difficult to determine without doing research first. After selecting a product or service for sale,
businesses need to look at competitors and find out who their target market is. Businesses need to do research
before determining the target market. Businesses also need to review analytics data to find out the age, target
demographics, geography, etc. That are appropriate for the tastes of the products and services offered.

1.2.1 Geographic

We have chosen University Malaysia Kelantan for our business location based on several aspects which have been
considered i.e. infrastructure facilities, and transportation system Furthermore, its location is strategic as our
premises are close to the target customers. Our premises are easy to find as it is located near the hostel block. In
addition, the location of our premises has a special site for doing business with many facilities and easy to find
customers. We also conduct COD near the Pengkalan Chepa area and use courier delivery services to deliver
goods to distant locations.

1.2.2 Psychographic

Our products are suitable for teenagers. Since the prices offered are cheap, teenagers from the lower and middle
classes are more likely to buy quality and cheap gifts. In addition, the clothing fashion we offer follows the latest
trends. Our products are very suitable for customers who like modern clothing styles. In fact, our products are
packaged in beautiful boxes and are perfect for customers who want to find gifts for their loved ones.

1.2.3 Demographic

The main target market of our business is young people, especially university students and teenagers. Usually they
tend to buy gifts of clothes that are simple, wearable for a long period of time and stylish suitable for both men and
women. This Grants’ Wish provides a complete gift, so customers don’t have to waste time preparing a gift and
thinking of finding the desired gift to give to someone. This Grants' Wish is not only for those on high incomes but
also for people from middle class and lower class income. This is because the price of our clothing -based gifts is
very much in line with the interests of the young and affordable by the public with different income levels. So we try
to take this opportunity to introduce Grants’ Wish to those looking for a complete gift to meet their needs with several
options of colours, sizes and types of items.

6.4 COMPETITION

There are many competitors offering the same product or service in the same market. Competitor companies have
similar target markets. Therefore, we do our best to produce products that have their own uniqueness by adding
value to the product to give it a difference from the products of competing companies. With the variations we bring
to the product will appeal to customers.

1.6.1 PRODUCT STRATEGIES

We use a product approach in terms of branding, size, colour, quality and packaging. in terms of branding, we
decided to brand our products as Grants ’Wish. The name Grants ’Wish was chosen because in line with the
products offered in the form of ready -wrapped gifts for customers looking for a gift for someone. in terms of size,
we offer Nike T-shirts in sizes S, M and L that detail the size of the chest, body length and sleeve length, while for
the hat size is a free size that can be worn for all sizes. in terms of colour, we offer a black and white selection of
Nike brand T-shirts and hats. the material for the T-shirt is made of cotton which is very comfortable and not hot
suitable for the weather in Malaysia, while for the hat material is made of canvas which makes the hat durable and
quality. in terms of packaging, we use beautiful boxes to attract customers and user-friendly where users can reuse
and not easily damaged and decorated with snacks, chocolates, wish cards and stickers for those who want to add.
We also ensure that the Grants' Wish packaging is packed properly in order to prevent the packaging from breaking
during the transportation process and ensure that our packages arrive in good condition to the customer.

1.6.2 Promotion strategies

Promotional strategies are important to introduce our products to customers. This is for ensuring all customers
know of the existence of the Grants’ Wish business. Advertising helps us to let them know that we offer a complete
gift based on Nike T-shirts and hats that are of high quality and the price offered is cheap and affordable.
Furthermore, our business is a new business, so advertising is important to introduce the Grants’ Wish business.
To ensure that our products are known in the market, we need to plan some systematic strategies namely:

a) Advertising
We use social media as a platform to conduct advertising activities. Our purpose in choosing a social
media platform is because we can promote Grants’ Wish for free without paying any charges. This can
save costs and is free to advertise in its own way. Among the social media platforms we use are WhatsApp,
Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok.

1.6.3 Pricing Strategies

As an entrepreneur, the best way to reach the target market is to form a pricing strategy. This ensures that
customers can buy at affordable prices, and most importantly we can capitalize on profits. The prices offered are
cheap, affordable and affordable suitable for all income levels. The price we offer is a Nike T-shirt priced at RM15,
a Nike hat priced at RM10, while a combo set is RM28. The specialty of our product is that every purchase of a
combo set the buyer will get a wish card and sticker for free. In addition, buyers can add additional items such as
snacks and chocolates at a price of 60 to 65 cents. Shipping costs are also considered. We use delivery service to

deliver our products to customers. The delivery cost charged is RM8 for peninsular Malaysia and RM12 for Borneo
Malaysia.

1.6.4 DISTRIBUTION STRATEGIES

Distribution strategies are important to keep our packages in good condition when it reaches the customer. We use
a delivery service that brings their packages to their homes. Customers don’t have to bother to waste time going to
the store to find well-stocked gift items. Customers simply wait at their residence or other location based on their
address until the delivery service has arrived to deliver the parcel to them. In addition, we also use a Cash on
Delivery (COD) distribution strategy. We will send packages to customers in the University Malaysia Kelantan,
Kelantan and Besut, Terengganu. After the buyer gets the package, the buyer will pay for our product along with
the shipping charge.

1.8 MARKETING BUDGET

A market budget is a plan that describes the financial allocation used by a business. Market budgets are usually
determined quarterly or annually. Market budgeting involves listing fixed costs and variable costs. With a budget,
businesses can provide a clear picture of expenses and income and influence business decisions.

Online digital marketing is a marketing technique in several ways that uses digital media for customers easily and
quickly. Digital marketing is a network of efforts to disseminate, deliver, and introduce a product and service to

achieve a specific purpose by using digital equipment and technology that is in line with modern development and
provide convenience to customers. We use online marketing strategies because they are easier to operate, free to
promote in their own way, easy to attract customers and most importantly cost effective. We use social media
namely Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and WhatsApps to inform our products to customers. The purpose of our
choosing to use social media as digital marketing is that society today has social media. This gives us the
opportunity to introduce Grants’ Wish to the community with a wider reach and ease of access.

7.3 Operation Layout Plan

We use our campus as a stockpiling point that we book for our customers. We chose this place
because it was easy for us to receive the next stock to be able to run our sales project.

7.4 Location

Address: Karung Berkunci 36, Kampus Kota Pengkalan Chepa, 16100 Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

We have chosen that location as the main location for us to receive the items we order in the online
purchase that is in the Shopee app. When the goods reach our campus, we will distribute and segregate
in advance for each of our customers’ orders according to their respective requests. After that, we will
send their order via JNT post and will be charged postage according to the weight of the item. Not only
that, we also provided cod delivery to areas close to our campus and they are charged cod according to
the distance from our place. Therefore, we are ready and willing to accept purchases from any of our
customers throughout Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak because it is our duty and responsibility in
implementing this business project.

8.0 FINANCIAL
Financial management is a decision-making process concerned with planning, acquiring and utilizing
funds. It can be used as a statement to check and evaluate and organization is performance that is
crucial to its development, growth and survival. The financial manager is the man or woman that is
responsibility to in charge with the financial management.
The financial plan is the step in the preparation of business plan. It is the most crucial aspects of the
business plan and involves determining the total project cost, choice of sources of financing and
preparation on financial projection in terms of pro forma statements, which include cash flow, income
statement and balance sheet. In addition, the financial plan should be supported by depreciation
schedules for every fixed cost owned as well as amortization schedules for loan and hire purchase
repayments. The financial plan is prepared after all budgets pertaining to marketing, operation and
administration (knows as operating budgets) is completed.

To become a successful entrepreneur, an individual must first develop and sharpen his or her
entrepreneurial talents. Furthermore, in order to be a successful entrepreneur, an individual must possess
