Identify instruction goals:

Identify the parts of a seed

with
its
corresponding
function and know how
plants grow from a seed.

Analyze learners:
Mostly of the pupils
are visual learners. They
understand more if they
are provided by pictures or
videos that could support
their learning.

Identify
objectives:

1.Identify the parts of a

seed
2.Define GERMINATION
3.Illustrate
understanding on the
functions of each part

Plan instructional
activities:
*The teacher will post a picture of
seed and will ask the pupils if they
already saw a seed.
*The teacher will read a story entitled
The Tiny Seed.
*Formal
discussion
of
seed
germination and its parts.
*The teacher would ask few questions
about the topic and pupils will
answer.

Choose ET media:

Interactive Whiteboard

Implement instruction:

On the top right corner of the interactive whiteboard the teacher will present the picture of a
seed and will asks few questions to the pupils. After that, the teacher will read the story
The Tiny Seed and while reading the story, the video about the story will be projected on
the interactive whiteboard at the same time for better understanding. The teacher will ask
again few questions about the story and proceed to the discussion. In discussing the parts of
the seed and the process of seed germination, the teacher will use again the interactive
whiteboard to illustrate the ideas to the class.

Make assessment on learning outcomes and

effectiveness of EF application:
*Teacher will show illustration on the parts of seed and
the pupils will name it using the electronic marker or
their fingers only on the electronic whiteboard.
*The teacher will group the pupils and let them draw on
the interactive whiteboard on how seed grow into plant
or seed germination.

Subject: Science 4
Topic: Parts of a
Seed in its

Recycle instruction:
If objectives are attained teacher will proceed to the factors that affect
seed germination and growth. If not, remedial measure will be given like
illustrating the parts of seed with its name in the left column and the
functions of the parts of the seed in the right column. And the students
will tap or move the function beside its corresponding part in the
interactive whiteboard.
