Objective(s):
The students will be able to participate in the Olympic games.

Teacher Activities:
1. Break students up into five different groups, each group will represent a different city-state in ancient
Greece. Introduce the activity for today - The Olympic Games.
2. Have each group read the description of their city-state and the behaviors and goals that they should have
during the games.
3. Next, have each group decide which members are going to participate in each of the following games:
Olympic Tongue Twisters, Sticky Man Throw, Boxing, Ball in Basket, Art Recognition and Music
Appreciation.
4. Let the games begin!

Student Activities:
1. Break up into five different groups, each group will represent a different city-state in ancient Greece.
Listen to the introduction.
2. Read the description of your city-state and the behaviors and goals that you should have during the games.
3. Decide which members are going to participate in each of the following games: Olympic Tongue
Twisters, Sticky Man Throw, Boxing, Ball in Basket, Art Recognition and Music Appreciation.
4. Let the games begin!

Assessment: The winner of the games will receive 5 WOW tickets.

Olympic Games.
