Phase 1 Planning

Group the students into groups of 4 or 5

Introduce Students to a list of technologies/devices that are used to

make learning in the classroom beneficial and enjoyable.

Assign each group member a specific task to complete contributing to

the research of the assigned historical figure.

Teach students on how to research using internet sites , data and

charting, and surveys.

Teach students how to use power point and word documents, and
excel to present data that has been collected.

Assign two laptops to each group.

Phase 1
Relative advantages of using the technologies in this lesson plan:
Students will create a power point presentation by researching and collecting
data and information from the internet, other students, surveys, and any other
source that is beneficial to their presentation.
Technology will help the students with research and gain self-dependence and
also team work in this lesson plan.

B) The objective this lesson plan is to learn and research the new devices that
are becoming popular in the classroom. Students will learn to interact with
other as they collect data about the device they are providing research for.
Students will be graded on their ability to collect and preform research, and
presenting the data collected in a power point presentation.

C)I would use the data or a test or quiz with one of the devices, to see if the
students were paying attention, and to test the information that was provided
in the presentation.
