Learning Objectives:
o Improve understanding of Shakespearean writing
o Encourage in class and out-of-class student discussions
o Promote student involvement with the reading, plot, and drawing individual
conclusions on authors purpose
o Develop students ability to work alone and in a group
Task Preparation:
o I would create a rubric for what must be included in the profile descriptions for
the characters (friends, enemies, plot, hobbies, etc.)
o I would then spend some class time showing students how to create a profile on
Twitter by creating the first character and discussion guidelines
o I would establish the guidelines of discussion posts and responses

Students will also be able to address the issues, character flaws, textual references from in-class
discussions and effectively communicate those in an abstract out of class discussion forum using
