MIME PRACTICE

ASSIGNMENT
LEARNING GOAL:
- Telling a story using effective mime technique!
In groups of 2 or 3, you will create a very brief
scene with 5 important features:
1): A conflict between characters
2): Something SURPRISING that happens
3), 4), 5): At least THREE mime objects
You may speak, but DO NOT RELY on your words to tell us where you are
use SCAPING and MIME!

SUCCESS CRITERIA:
- Exaggerated movements!
- Detail detail detail!
- Use of whole body
- Click and Wind up
- You believe it!

You will have 20 minutes to work on this assignment. My recommendation:

5 minutes for discussion

5 minutes for designing movement/mime
10 minutes for rehearsal + improvement

We will perform these pieces in class today. You should be prepared to offer
some feedback on your colleagues performances remember the hamburger!
