Grade 12 Drama Summative - Program Page

Checklist
A picture(s) of the character you have researched at the very least a head shot. You certainly may
include more than one picture
Make sure it looks dynamic and awesome
You might consider using a quote that summarizes who the character is/was under the picture
Include the birth and death dates of your character
Include a 2-3 paragraph biography of your character
Explain the setting and background information for each scene in your monologue
Also include the time period change for each scene
For each scene provide any background or immediate events that have triggered the monologue scene
Identify by name the other character(s) in your scene(s) and the names of the actors who will play those
roles
Allusions: anything or anyone you refer to in your monologue, should be identified or explained
You may have a double-sided program page, like the real thing!
Proofread your program page for spelling or grammar errors
Include a biography of the performer (thats you!)

Choose one of these questions and answer it as fully as you can. Use personal examples and feelings.
1) How are you the same as your character? How different? Describe why.
2) What was your favourite moment of yours or someone elses piece? Describe it, with specific references
to the rubric. Why was it your favourite?
3) What (skills, knowledge, self understanding, personality traits, etc) will you take away from this
assignment, this year, your whole career as a drama student? How are you different than you would have
been had you not taken Drama?
